Generous reality star Kylie Jenner has donated $10,000 to her best friend Jordyn Woods’ family after she lost her dad to cancer.
Kylie sent in the donation through a GoFundMe page, which was set up to help with the oustanding medical fees still remaining. The site says that the family has been hit in every way possible – emotionally, mentally and financially.
As the heartbroken family plans for John’s funeral, they are still faced with paying large medical bills. They need $50,000, meaning that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has handed the family a fifth of what they need.
The teenage star donated the amount along with writing a message which said: “I love you guys very much.” It is understood that Jordyn lost her father just two weeks after he was diagnosed with cancer.
When you cry, I cry
Writing on social media, Kylie also spoke about how much she cares for her best friend, saying: “The other half of me. When you cry, I cry.” Jordyn confirmed her tragic news on social media last week, but said that the death had still not really sunk in.
In a heartbreaking post, Jordyn said: “Last night heaven Got Another angel. My Daddy. Just two short weeks ago he was diagnosed with cancer and by that time it was too late.” She also thanked everyone who had supported her for their kind words, but said it still did not seem real to her that she had lost her father.
Reality star Kylie and Jordyn have been close friends for years. The star recently bought her mate a $70,000 car for her eighteenth birthday. Jordyn said that words could not describe how she felt when her friend gave her such a generous present, adding that she did not know what she had done to deserve such a gift.
